NONET
WHAT IS A NONET?
A Nonet is a 9 line poem consisting of syllable count that keeps descending. The first line has 9 syllables, second line has 8 syllables and so on till the last line which has one syllable. This form of poetry is pretty fun to write and has a shape, meaning, when you look at the poem, the length of the line decreases slowly and is pleasing to the eye. It has no fixed rhyme scheme and can cover any subject.The difference between Etheree and nonet is that Etheree has 10 lines and syllable count keeps increasing from 1 to 10.

EXAMPLE OF NONET:
A SEMI PRECIOUS BIRTH
~M L KISER
Earth, air, fire and water together
transmutation births a new child.
Smoldering newborn appears;
this precious miracle,
soon to be revealed
and worn around
someone’s neck;
Turquoise
dreams.

Give a really nice title and draw the reader in.
When aligning the poem, left alignment is suggested since it makes the shape more pronounced.
